“I attempt to create constructions that explore the beginnings of creativity and intentions utilizing modest materials and ephemeral elements . Using the moment as product can produce the unlikely, impractical and leaves room for new impulses and spontaneity. In my sometimes awkward stumbling I share my joys of accomplishment with self-doubt by forming flawed circuitous logic. I seek to create instances when the familiar generates hopeful opportunities and reverie. I avoid pessimism and sarcasm focusing instead on honesty and sincerity. My use of a façade is not to suggest falseness but to develop an idea continuing beyond the surface. It is acceptable that some elements are overlooked in my work therefore amplifying its discovery for the curious. I attempt to exist somewhere between secrecy and sincerity.”
